Also, you might want to look into being a medical writer (the person who writes up the protocols and reports for clinical trials). I know several medical writers from my time working in biotech, and I could probably get you in touch with a couple of them.
In any case, don't get too stressed out about lacking clues at this time. Even those of us who always knew what we wanted to do can find ourselves having to consider alternatives or implement plan B.
