Thanks for responding and sorry to be almost a month late in getting to you. I don't recognize Ceridwynn as an lj handle, so if I know her, I don't know that. I'm not sure how good I'd be at being a medical writer, as the hardest part of my actual research has been protocol, though that might be in part because I had little to actual think about methodology or implement a pilot study before diving right in.

It's less that I'm implementing Plan B than it is that I had an insufficiently detailed Plan A, and am now scrambling to either fill in the details or draw up a new plan. Currently, that plan may be something in forensics, working for an evil agricorp, or pursuing urban ecology--which has the advantage of being practical enough that entities other than universities would be theoretically willing to pay me to do it.
