I'm back from Maine. Maine sucks, for there is very little to do if you're agorophobic and don't like to do the whole "beach" thing. Saw Rocky Horror Picture Show last night at the Avon, which was fun, despite my lack of knowledge of the cues. Alan is always a blast to be with: he came not only wearing the golden Rocky underwear, but also brought Frank'n'Furter stuff and he danced onstage dressed as both. The only drags were that (a) Theresa was sick and couldn't come and (b) there were fuckloads of people from the SHS drama club, who, with a few notable exceptions, I loathe and despise. It's sorta funny, cuz I've been reading The Stand for a week now and I'm seeing more and more of myself in Harold Lauder, who was driven to evil through jealousy, being excluded, and 17 years of being ridiculed, mentally tortured, and ignored by his peers. It's a little unsettling, but it feels... like I'm beginning to get a better understanding of myself. Incidentally, I always thought that I was a lot like Snape...
